FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS TO 170+ BUSES
Horizons West began in 1987 with a handful of buses and a simple promise: safe, reliable transport for the people of Perth. Nearly four decades later, that promise hasn't changed — but our fleet, our technology, and our reach have grown to match it.
In 2023, we joined the Kelsian Group — bringing new resources and national reach while maintaining the independent operations and local identity Perth knows. Today, we operate from our Welshpool depot, with a full on-site maintenance workshop ensuring every bus meets our standards.

FOUNDED IN PERTH
Horizons West Bus & Coach Lines begins operations in Perth’s southern suburbs.
FLEET EXPANSION
Major fleet upgrade with modern, air-conditioned coaches. Technology investments begin.
WESTWIDE MERGER
Merger with Westwide Bus Company adds 40+ vehicles and expands Perth metropolitan coverage.
NEW HORIZONS
Joins the Kelsian Group while maintaining independent operations and the Horizons West brand Perth knows.
